Scott Zuckerman has dedicated his career to helping people generate wealth, enhancing the value of their assets and working towards their financial goals. This focused determination led Scott to form Wexford Financial Strategies, a company built on comprehensive financial analysis and superior customer service. As President and CEO, Scott has modeled his company on the belief that the importance of planning, not product should be used to address the needs of clients within an ever complex financial world.

Scott maintains his designations as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and holds both Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial. Scott also is an investment advisor representative with LPL Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor.

As a CFS®, Scott's designation allows him to construct and monitor portfolios, develop income strategies, and assist with retirement account design. His training also gives him insight when analyzing various risks and the tax implications involved in working toward short and long range investment goals. As a CLU®, Scott is able to provide strategies on a variety of financial topics to both individuals and business owners. These include life insurance, health and long term medical insurance, disability income, pension planning, investment opportunities, estate planning, and group benefits.

Scott's commitment to furthering his education and keeping a fresh perspective in the financial world, While at Mass Mutual led him to achieve the designation of Chartered Special Needs Consultant. This advanced certification is currently held by a limited number of financial planners as such, Scott is positioned to provide professional advice in estate and tax planning concepts, special needs trusts, and various government programs (SSI and Medicaid) to families caring for people with disabilities. Tailoring a comprehensive financial plan to address the needs of two generations requires a thorough knowledge of the financial industry as well as an understanding of the emotional dynamics involved. Scott possesses the background and skills necessary to address this and to further diversify his firm's value to his clients and the overall community.

Scott resides in Long Island, New York and has two sons. In his spare time, Scott practices Mixed Martial arts and holds a Black Belt in Karate as well as his certification in Mixed Martial Arts Instruction. Scott also holds his private pilot license and loves to fly as often as he can. He's an avid networker and one of the founding members of "LIPOD," a Long Island elite networking group. He's an active fund-raiser and long time supporter of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, from Syracuse University.

Michelle Zuckerman

Michelle Zuckerman is a seasoned insurance professional with over 25 years in the financial services field. Having held positions in the fields of finance and accounting, Michelle is able to tailor her skills to meet the insurance planning needs of her clients. Michelle holds a life, health and accident license and is one of her firm’s insurance specialists. Life, disability, long term care and health insurance are Michelle’s primary focus.

Michelle takes a consultative approach when working with her clients. Her clients are well educated because she takes the time to explain the various phases of insurance planning and the importance of asset protection. As an independent insurance specialist, she has access to over 50 of the top insurance companies. She has no sales requirements and does not represent any one insurance company. This allows Michelle to really focus on what is best for her clients.

Michelle resides in Long Island, New York with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she is involved in various networking organizations and activities for her children.

Justin Scheckner is a Financial Consultant at Wexford Financial Strategies. Justin maintains his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and holds both Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial. Justin provides innovative financial services for individuals, business owners and their families. He focuses his work on Investment Planning, Retirement Income Planning, Estate Planning, and Protection Planning.

Justin began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he performed research and analysis for cases and depositions in the Financial Services Industry. He then worked at Investment Management Firm Neuberger Berman, as a Business Analyst, a Performance Analyst in the Separately Managed Accounts Group, and built and managed a Fixed Income Analytics Team. After working at Neuberger Berman, Justin took a role at Investment Management Firm AllianceBernstein where he led analysis and research efforts to place AllianceBernstein Mutual Funds in Financial Advisor Model Portfolios and on Recommended Lists. Prior to joining Wexford Financial in November 2013, Justin worked as a Financial Planner and served as the Retirement Income Specialist at the Center for Wealth Preservation (CWP), a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Financial Group (MassMutual).

Justin currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and two daughters. Justin is one of the founding members of the Boca Founders Networking Group. Justin also coaches recreational basketball in the West Boca Basketball League. Justin graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Finance with High Distinction.

Tom maintains his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation and holds both his Series 7 and Series 66 securities registration with LPL Financial.

Tom brings his experience and insight as a former business owner and entrepreneur to assist his clients in the areas of business succession, estate, retirement and investment planning. Tom’s strength lies in his ability to build and maintain long term client relationships based on the values of service and trust.

Tom’s financial planning practice specializes in assisting business owners, professionals and individuals in investing and preserving their wealth. This is accomplished through a process which clarifies and defines client’s objectives, considers relevant strategies, coordinates the efforts of other professionals and culminates in the implementation of a tax efficient plan for the benefit of themselves, their families and worthy causes

Tom also has a specialty in advising non profit organizations in designing and building their planned giving programs. Tom’s relationships in the non profit world as consultant, employee or supplier includes groups such as UNICEF, Sesame Workshop and The Hispanic Heritage Foundation among others.

Tom is a Trustee of the Estate Belonging to the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. He is board member of Camp DeWolfe, a retreat and youth camp on Long Island and the Warden of Trinity Church, Roslyn, NY. He has previously volunteered on the Planned Giving Committee for the Interfaith Nutrition Network. Tom is a long time resident of Glen Cove, NY where he lives with his wife and their two children.
